A smile is Enough

'I am a dead duck',I thought while I was returning to the hostel. What will the guys say. Rohan was pretty hysterical, he was acting as if the world was going to come to an end. Well that was expected from him, I would have actually been surprised if he acted with less fever . Anyways Sameer was pretty cool about it.
"Dont worry dude, its nothing, he will just scold us, people do get frusty sometimes, chill man."
But how could I. Sameer was cool about most things, whether it was missing classes, bunking tests and all. Well he could afford it I guess, his dad was pretty rich.
Next two hours went by at snail's pace. Guess when you are about to be kicked, all things seem wrong. Nothing absolutely nothing could improve my situation right now. But life is strange you see, it will be out to prove you out when you think you are dead right.
As you might have guessed I met Pooja during the luch break. She was looking stunning in a simple salwaar kammez. Some people just have it in them , they look beautiful in anything I am sure you must be knowing some people like those too. Anyways she had a lovely smile on her face when she came up to me.
Me - "Looking happy, some occasion"
Pooja - "Nothing yaar, just that I had given an audition for the dance club."
Me - "So what happened?"
Pooja - "I got selected in it , yey!!!!!"
Now that was not a very big deal to be very frank. Girls do get over joyed on small things (guys take note). But some how I was very happy for her and I forgot all my trouble.
Me - "Wow yaar, that calls for a celebration.Wassay, mongi chale? Mess ko goli maar."
Pooja - "Ya chal"
So I spent the next hour laughing on her silly jokes and she also returned the favour (my sense of humor is also not that great). It was amazing how I forgot all my tension with her. A smile was enough for me.
